From the doc: 'Xtractor Plus is an archive extraction utility designed to make processing Zip, Rar, Ace, and Arj type archives fast and easy. The program features fast internal archive processing for Zip, Rar, and Ace type archives (shell support for Arj), support for multi-volume sets of all supported archive types (including Zips!), drag and drop support, several file management functions, support for password encrypted archives, and much more. The program requires that the Visual Basic 6 runtime library be installed on your computer in order for it to function. Most computers already have this installed. To be sure that you do, check in your windowssystem folder for the file 'Msvbvm60.dll'. If it's there you're good to go. If not, the package can be downloaded for free from Microsoft at this address: ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/Softlib/MSLFILES/Vbrun60sp3.exe Just download the file and doubleclick it in the Windows Explorer to install. Xtractor Plus also requires the DOS version of the Arj archive utility if you wish to extract Arj files. The shareware version of this utility is available from the author's website listed below. However, if you need to do these things while you are running Xtractor Plus, the program has a 'launch' feature which allows you to select an archive and open it in its default application, if you have one installed, simply by clicking a button.
