WinLose is a worm that spreads through floppy disks and removable flash drives. Once executed, the parasite displays a message explaining its functionality. Then it starts a spreading routine and runs a payload. WinLose changes the Internet Explorer default home page and modifies some system settings. It may also attempt to terminate antivirus software. The worm runs on every Windows startup. It even starts in Safe Mode.
