    from the doc: 'NetControl.Server Editor is an utility that allows you to edit and personalize your server , for a more secure remote administration ! NetControl.Server Editor allows you to set a password for the server so only the one who knows the password will be able to connect to it or log on to the IRC bot ! NetControl.Server Editor also allows you to attach a file in it so it will be executed when the server is executed , set a fake error message to fool the remote user and personalize the IRC bot and the server`s auto-update settings ! How does the NetControl.Server Editor works and how to use it ! To edit a server you have to drag it over the NetControl.Server Editor ! The editor will check if it is edited and if it is password protected for editing you will be asked for the password ! If you don`t know it press Alt+F4 ! If you know it type it and you`re inside the server - now start settings the propreties to suite your needs ! If it is a new server uncompiled you will be warned that the file you are editing may not be a server and if you want to continue ! Press Yes if you`re sure it is a good server ! Then enter the settings and press Save Settings ! NetControl.Server Editor can allow you to disable the IRC BOT and other options which will be described here : Edit password Here you enter a password to use when you want to re-edit the server ! If you don`t know it you will not be alowed to edit the server ! Password The password you are going to use to identify yourself to the IRC BOT or to the server when you connect with the client ! Do not leave it blank ! If you do the risks are maximum ! The toolbar Button 1 :Use to activate the autoupdate facility ! If you do not push it the server will never autoupdate and you will have to do it manually ! Button 2 :Use it to activate the IRC BOT ! If you do not push it you will not be able to control the remote computer on IRC . If you do not set any of the IRC BOT`s settings they will be generated randomly and the channel will be #netcontrol . Button 3 :Use it to activate the fake-error facility ! If you push it when the server is executed for the first time it will display the text you entered as an error ! If you leave the Fake error message settings blank a default error message will be shown ! Button 4 :Press it and after the server moves it will delete the initial executed server ! It will vanish in a few seconds ! Linked file Enter the complete file you want the server to swallow and when the server is executed it will run this file to fool the remote user ! If you leave it blank no file will be swallowed ! Spit out When you press this button the linked file [if one exeists] will be spit out at a location you will be told ! Save a copy Push this to save the server settings to a file in order to load them at a later time ! Save settings Push this to save the server settings to the selected server and to link the file if one to link ! Autoupdate settings FTP : The ftp server to use for update ! PORT :The port for the ftp server ! USER :The username to connect to the ftp server ! PASS :The user password to identify to the ftp server ! PATH :The path of the server file on the ftp server ! The file must not be archived or anything ! Simply leave it like it is or rename it ! INTERVAL :The interval [in minutes] when to attempt to update ! If you do not set a ftp server , my ftp address and settings will be entered by default ! Your server settings will be saved ! IRC BOT settings USER :Enter a username for the bot in order to find it easier ! Use the /who *username* to find your bots on the IRC ! I advice you to give all your BOTs the same username so when you enter the command above you will see all of them ! NICK :Enter the nick of your BOT ! If it is already taken or wrong a new one will be generated ! CHANNEL :Enter the channel for your bots to join ! KEY :Enter the key the bots should use to enter on the channel above ! MODE :Enter a mode for the bots to set when they get op status on a channel , or when they join it if they become ops ! Eg: +ntsk channelkey TOPIC :Enter a topic to set on the channel it joins or when it becomes an operator on it ! If you leave these blank and you activate the bot it will join #netcontrol with a random nick and username ! Fake error message TITLE : The title of the text-box to display if you activate the fake error facility ! TEXT : The text in the text-box to display if you activate the fake error facility ! ICON : The icon to display for the error message ! BUTTONS :The buttons to display in the message-box ! Values to modify the Fake error`s icon and buttons : Icon TypeValueButtonsValueNone 0 OK 0 Exclamation 48 YES-NO 4 Question 32 OK-CANCEL 1 Error 16 YES-NO-CANCEL 3 Informations 64 ABORT-RETRY-IGNORE 2 á á RETRY-CANCEL 5 If you leave these blank and you activate the error-message it will generate a default error message ! Startup settings NEW NAME :New name for the server executable after execution ! NEW PATH :New path for the executable to move to ! To make it move to a path containing System Directory or Windows Directory use percents or percentw ! Eg. percentsdirectory and anem server.exe NEW REG VALUE :A value to add in the registry for startup option ! If you leave these blank it will generate a default name , path and registry value !
