Stavron is a worm that spreads through unprotected network shares. Once executed, the parasite installs itself to the system and starts searching local drives for non-system folders and directories, which are not related to installed software. Then Stavron renames all the folders it finds and overwrites all the files in them. As a result, the user may lose sensitive data, personal documents, media files, etc. The worm does not alter vital system components.
