from the doc: ' Congratulations! You have just received a program that will assist you in gaining revenge on some loser out there by making a simulation that will, if used properly, cause the loser to get a new computer, more memory, pissed off, depressed, or worse, without doing TOO much harm. Trust me, I know. What this program will do: A) Prompt you for a dormancy period, as either a time[HH:MM] or for a specified number of minutes. B) Remain dormant until then. C) When the dormancy has expired, it will, according to an algorithm, slow down the targeted computer at a rate that uniformally increases during each timer tick. HARMFUL SLOW DOWN! - INSTRUCTIONS How to use this program: A) Transport this program to the computer/station which you wish to SLOW DOWN. B) Execute SLOWDOWN.EXE, and specify a proper dormancy. Guess what? You can now use PARAMETERS. To do this, specify the number of minutes you wish this program to stay dormant for. You will NOT be prompted at all, therefore this is ideal in a network or batch file situation. C) Clear the screen, and, if necessary, leave that computer. D) Stand by, possibly, and watch the expression on the poor bastard's face. HARMFUL SLOW DOWN! - TIPS Do you really HATE your computer "teacher"? That is a common scenario, (TRUST ME). So, reek some revenge in your lab! Do you have a class in there? If so, just run this program before you begin, and specify a dormancy that will not affect you, but others... Then, maybe move to another computer, and do the same. This should work effectively. Set it for the time that the computer rejects normally come in to the lab. Do you really HATE your boss or fellow employees? Well, then sneak over to their station and run this program. Try and set the dormancy to a time when you think they might be doing something important, or urgent. Because of the new parameter feature, you can modify a persons NOVELL login script file and add SLOWDOWN xxxx(# of minutes to remain dormant). Also, SLOWDOWN can be added to a batchfile, and will not be visible if ECHO is set to off by the command ECHO OFF( Simple, huh? ).
