    Start the registry editor <./../../../spywarescanner/library/glossary/registryeditor.phtml>. This is done by clicking Start then Run. (The Run dialog will appear.) Type regedit and click OK. (The registry editor will open.) Delete 'HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\SOFTWARE \ Classes \ CLSID \ {FF1BF4C7-4E08-4A28-A43F-9D60A9F7A880}', if it exists. Delete 'HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer\Browser Helper Objects \ {FF1BF4C7-4E08-4A28-A43F-9D60A9F7A880}', if it exists. Exit the registry editor. Restart your computer. Start Windows Explorer <./../../../spywarescanner/library/glossary/windowsexplorer.phtml> and delete: %SystemDir%\mshelper.dll %SystemDir%\mshelper beta.dll Note: %SystemDir% is a variable (<./../../../spywarescanner/library/glossary/variable.phtml>). By default, this is C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me), C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000), or C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP). Now it should be possible to change you browser settings without searchpage.cc interfering.
