PagerBomber 2000 details

from the doc: ' Ok here's the deal. This program will page a buncha pagers to a certain phone number. Therefore, this one phone number will get hundreds of phone calls saying "did you page me?" Pretty sweet, huh? Anyways, simply enter the phone number you want to jack, the number of pagers to dail, a pager prefix and the com port of your modem. The "Page Pause" function lets you specify how many seconds to wait between the time the pager is dailed and the phone number is actually put into the paging system. The pager prefix is the 3 digit phone prefix that the random pager numbers are chosen from. How do you find a pager prefix for your area code? I duno, take the first 3 numbers of one of your friends pagers, and use that. The "Silence Modem" feature turns off the annoying modem speaker. I would recommend leaving it on for the first few pages, and then turning it off for the rest. "Exit when Finished" will close the program when its done dialing all the numbers. You can change the number of pagers to dail and silence the modem while the program is dailing. I would say that to really piss someone off, 100 to 200 pages is sufficient. I'm guessing that maybe 50percent to 70percent of the valid pagees actually call back. The number of valid pagers you will get depends on how full the pager prefix you chose is. An invalid pager number is one where there is no account, and sometimes you will hear "Invalid Pager" or something similar, or you could just get the annoying "Disconnected Line" beep. I have never actually used this program :) but if i did, the person on the other end would end up having to change their phone number, or disconnect it for a few days. For the first hour or two, their line will be busy because so many people will be calling. However, a few people wont call back until the next day, so even if your target survives the initial bombardment, they will be annoyed for a day or two. Please be VERY carefull with this. Do not abuse it. I'm sure it would not be difficult for the pager company to figure out where the phone calls are coming from, and it is a great burden on their network. Using this more than one time on the same target may result in the target calling the pager company and reporting this abuse, and they might call you, or in extreme cases, take legal action. Either way...'
