Ovagur is a virus that infects all executable files it finds in accessible network drives and on removable media. It corrupts some of the files it infects preventing them from being executed and running properly. The parasite also installs other pests including a backdoor that provides the attacker with unauthorized remote access to the compromised computer. Ovagur uses an integrated rootkit to hide its activity and presence in the system. It secretly runs on every Windows startup.
