MyCustomIE is an illegal advertising program, which tracks user activity in the Internet and collects information about user web surfing habits. It sends gathered data to a predefined web site, receives and displays undesirable commercial advertisements. MyCustomIE works as an add-on to Internet Explorer and runs every time the user starts the browser. Parasite files are located in the default system directory C:WindowsSystem, C:WindowsSystem32 or C:WinntSystem32.
