LookNSearch is an adware designed to function as an unwanted browser add-on. Once executed, the parasite installs its files into the system folder (C:WindowsSystem, C:WindowsSystem32 or C:WinntSystem32) and default Internet Explorer directory (C:Program FilesInternet Explorer). It alters the Windows registry, so the threat could run on every system startup. Active LookNSearch displays undesirable commercial advertisements, downloads and installs third-party software.
