IM Names is an adware program that uses AIM, MSN or Yahoo Messenger! to send instant messages containing commercial advertisements to user contacts during the conversation. IM Names is not malicious. However, it installs an adware component to the system. The program must be manually installed. It runs on every Windows startup.
