Erazer details

  • Description

Erazer is a destructive trojan able to spread through file sharing networks. Once executed, the parasite installs itself to the system and drops copies of itself to the shared folders of installed peer-to-peer applications. Then it runs its payload. Erazer terminates running processes of numerous malware parasites as well as some antiviruses, firewalls, spyware removers and system components. It also deletes nearly all files from the shared folders of installed peer-to-peer applications. Furthermore, it destroys text documents, presentations, logs, executables, images, audio and video files from the user’s personal folder. Erazer also collects user and system information. The trojan runs on every Windows startup.
