DigitalNames is an adware program that monitors user activity in the Internet, tracks his browsing habits and sends gathered data to a predefined web server. DigitalNames displays undesirable commercial advertisements. It has the ability to update itself via the Internet. Once executed, the parasite drops its files into the default system directory (C:WindowsSystem, C:WindowsSystem32 or C:WinntSystem32) and modifies the registry, so that it runs on every OS startup.
