Dbit is a virus that infects executable files and injects malicious code into running legitimate processes. The parasite also opens a back door providing the attacker with unauthorized remote access to the compromised computer. The intruder can download and upload arbitrary files, manage the file system, run programs, log user keystrokes, take screenshots and steal user passwords and confidential information. Furthermore, Dbit allows the attacker to run a hidden proxy and infect files. The virus is able to prevent some security-related programs from running. Dbit runs as a service on every Windows startup.
