Allaple.b is a worm that infects network computers by exploiting several known vulnerabilities. It can also spread by copying itself to network shares protected by weak passwords. The parasite carries a payload. It searches local hard drives for web (HTML) files and inserts specific code into them. This code can be used to spread the infection. Allaple.b runs as a service on every Windows startup.
