HDTBar is an adware parasite that installs an Internet Explorer toolbar and displays undesirable commercial advertisements. It also may download arbitrary files from the Internet. HDTBar can silently get into the system while visiting some insecure web sites. Once executed, it creates several files and modifies the Windows registry. The parasite may open a web page on the iebar.t2t2.com domain.
