Detnat is a virus that searches unprotected network shares for executable files and infects all the files it finds. It also downloads from the Internet and installs another parasite designed to steal passwords to the Lineage computer game. Detnat uses an integrated rootkit to hide its presence in the system. The virus runs as a service on every Windows startup.
